| Complexity We are able to draw up the most complicated injection moulds with various integrated functions for thermoplastic and thermosetting materials. The moulds designed by us are characterized by the appropriate stability and operational safety. Number of cavities Injection moulds featuring many cavities (more than 4) are widely used. To date we have realized moulds with up to 128 cavities (128-imp. medical moulding, fully heated hotrunner). Hotrunner systems More than 90% of our mould designs specify a hotrunner system, in some cases with a hotrunner distributor leading to a cold channel. Moulds for multi-component articles We are also experienced in designing moulds which produce multi-component mouldings relying on various techniques, e.g. rotary plate, index plate and repositioning. Insert moulding We draw from considerable experience also when it comes to inserting and moulding-in precision blanked parts, electronic components or complete injection moulded parts in the mould. These possibilities are increasingly resorted to for mechatronic parts in the automotive industry. Special functions Many of the moulds designed by us feature thread unscrewing devices, undercuts and other functions integrated in the moulded article.
